I am my children’s father. That is how I define myself. A husband to my beautiful wife Debbie, and a father to four wonderful children, Joshua, Kendra, Kaleigh and Jeremiah.
I also have often referred to myself as a young man, but with my youngest in high school, and my oldest teaching at that same school, I have progressed well beyond the “young” stage, as my body often testifies with aching eloquence.
I have been preaching for 30 years. Just about every Sunday since I was 16 years old. I haved lived in Fort Worth, TX for the past 20 of those years, preaching for the wonderful brethren at the West Side church of Christ.
I truly enjoy technology, have designed numerous web sites, am enthralled at the growth of so many open source computer technologies, and am convinced that netcasting (what I like to call podcasting… my anti-Apple bias coming through), is a wonderful way to educate, entertain, and proclaim your point of view.
I am not particularly political (I’ll leave that to my partner Larry), but I do have strong opinions about the world in which we live that I believe to be valid, and in agreement with Biblical principles.
Other than being the producer of Watchman Digest, my expertise comes from years of Bible study, and countless opportunities for applying those Biblical principles in teaching and counseling others.
A lot of people think it foolish to listen to the preacher in our day and time. But, give me a chance. I think you will enjoy Watchman Digest, and you might learn something!
