Watchman Digest is a labor of love for Stan Cox and Larry Fain.
Stan has long had an interest in netcasting (podcasting), and has had several successful podcasts as a part of his work as a preacher for the West Side congregation in Fort Worth, TX. The opportunity to combine a love for God’s word with an affinity for and interest in technology and the internet makes for an enjoyable opportunity to share the Christian point of view.
Larry is eminently qualified for the Digest format. A Political Science major, Larry has long had an active interest in politics and current events, and his background for many years as a gospel preacher gives him the ability and knowledge to weigh in on the ramifications and impact an often hostile world has on the Christian’s faith.
The format of Watchman Digest is conversational. The topics discussed are eclectic and timely. In addition to an examination of the week’s biggest stories, Stan and Larry share their Bible knowledge, sprinkle in a tidge of humor with an occasional rant, and generally try to entertain, inform, teach and share the wisdom of a combined 50+ years in the pulpit.
